Mutton Bustin’ is baa-ck at the Houston Rodeo, registration now open

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has opened registration for Mutton Bustin’ – a fan favorite event that features young children attempting to hold on to running sheep for as long as they can.

Mutton bustin’ competitions will take place in two locations – the NRG Stadium, which requires prior registration, and the Junction, which runs all day and parents can register their child upon arrival.

A fistful of wool: Mutton busters hang on for dear life to earn rodeo cowboy cred

Contestants must be between the ages of 5 and 6. If you want your child to participate in the exciting event, visit the Houston Rodeo website.

The Houston Rodeo will take place from March 3 – 22 at NRG Park.
