Two children were struck by drivers Sunday in unrelated auto-pedestrian crashes in Harris County, according to authorities.
The first crash was reported in the 3200 block of Atascocita Elm Drive, where driver struck a 5-year-old boy. The driver stayed on the scene, and the child was taken to a hospital via LifeFlight.
The second child, 9, was struck at the intersection of Atascocita Elm at Ferrari Street. That driver fled the scene. The child’s condition is unclear.
Authorities say the crashes appear to be unrelated.
