Kobe Bryant’s legacy lights up Houston

Whenever Kobe Bryant rolled into Houston (or any NBA city, really), it wasn’t unusual to see him light up the scoreboard and electrify the crowd.

Love or hate the Los Angeles Lakers legend, he was respected around the league.

Upon hearing news of Bryant’s death, many cities paid tribute in memorable ways.  Several teams took moments of silence on the court. The Dallas Mavericks announced they would retire his No. 24 jersey.
