McIngvale announced on Twitter his company will offer free grab and go meals from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Gallery Furniture located at 6006 N. Freeway. In addition to offering free meals, McInvale and his team have set up a COVID-19 response website for residents to submit ideas on how to help Houstonians in need during the crisis.

“It’s such a pleasure to help bring unity in the community because in Texas, tough times never last, tough Texans do,” McIngvale said via Twitter.

Houston rapper Slim Thug has taken to Instagram to offer live videos of his “quarantine mixes,” while Houston native and breakout singer Lizzo also took to Instagram live to offer a free meditation and mantra session for fans.
